Lira University student crowned Miss Tourism
A first-year Lira University student who earlier won the Miss Tourism Northern Uganda pageant has been crowned Miss Tourism Uganda 2024/25 after beating 29 other competitors.
Atino Lucky Bianca from Northern Uganda took home the coveted title, with Victoria Ndamurani from Bunyoro and Akidi Rachael from Karamoja emerging as the 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively.
The Miss Tourism Uganda pageant is a transformative journey that nurtures and empowers young women to become champions of tourism and cultural ambassadors for their country. Through this platform, participants gain invaluable skills, knowledge, and confidence to showcase Uganda’s rich heritage and natural beauty to the world.
The pageant’s emphasis on tourism education equips the contestants with a deep understanding of the sector’s significance in promoting cultural exchange, economic growth, and national pride.
