Miss Uganda Hannah Karema shines on World stage
On Monday March 4, Miss Uganda Hannah Karema emerged among the top 10 finalists in one of the categories at the ongoing Miss World pageant in India.
Karema was ranked among the queens with the best “beauty with a purpose” projects.
Her project came in 7th place behind Indonesia, Nepal, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Botswana.
Others in the top 10 in this category include Miss Tanzania, Miss Brazil and Miss Trinidad and Tobago.
In a video, Karema excitedly said, “Can you believe it?! I’ve snatched a spot in the top ten of Miss World Beauty with a Purpose! This is my chance to make a global impact, and I am beyond thankful for all your incredible support!” Beauty queens from 120 countries are competing for this year’s Miss World crown, and they will be taking part in different competitions before the grand finale on March 9,
