Kusasira Shines at ‘The Roots of Catherine Kusasira’ Concert

Catherine Kusasira entertained fans with a successful concert at Sheraton Gardens on Friday January 10. Dubbed The Roots of Catherine Kusasira in Old is Gold, the show celebrated her remarkable journey in music and highlighted the enduring appeal of band music in Uganda.

The massive turnout was a testament to the continued love and appreciation for Kusasira’s soulful sound. Her powerful performances of timeless hits kept fans entertained throughout the night, showcasing her vocal prowess and connection with her audience.

Adding to the memorable evening, Prime Minister Robbinah Nabbanja made a generous donation of UGX 30 million to support the artist. In addition, President Yoweri Museveni sent a goodwill message, commending Kusasira for her loyalty to the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
